Daily Deviation

The contrast between each model, their placement, and the overall composition here, all make for a great photograph. ( Featured by Mrs-Durden )

Superb use of black and white photography to show detail! I like how, at full resolution, I can see the subtle differences in their shades of skin. :)

Gotta say, this looks like you've got three ladies and a ghost.
Now, my complexion is pretty close to that on the farthest left, but still...
She looks like a negative in relation to the others.
They've got nice butts though.
Yeah, I said it!

It's true, but especially here, as you can't see their genitals at all, much less their vaginas!

No.  You really cannot, I promise you, see their vaginas in this image.  Much less their vulvas.  If you could actually see their vaginas, that would be a violation of deviantArt policy, and would not have been featured as a Daily Deviation, as that would involve spreading their labia one way or another, and probably some bodily fluids.  Regardless of your grasp of anatomy, however, you cannot see their genitals, except for a vague shadowed glimpse, and it isn't, and shouldn't be, the focus of anyone looking at this image.  I recommend your mature content filter.

I love the similarities and the differences. The two on the right with their straight hair over their shoulder, the two on the left with the curly hair, the two in the middle being darker than the two on the ends, but I think my favorite is the second on the left with her lovely stretch marks (it's possible the one on the far left has them as well, but they're hidden in the light).

Interesting skeletal structures. you can see all the definitions in black and white.
Nice work.

The immaturity here bothers me. I love how distant humans have gotten from the one thing that makes them human.
The ability to think is still too much for so many even at this present day.

Yeah right, it's not like your favourites gallery if filled with Hiddleston pictures, and not with fat hairy guys.. so much about diversity.

LOL IT'S ACTUALLY KIND OF HILARIOUS BECAUSE YOU NEVER SEE PICTURES LIKE THAT HERE ON DA. THEY'RE NOT THE MOST POPULAR OR VOTED FOR DAILY DEVIATIONS EVERY DAY.

ALSO A BONUS: MY BOYFRIEND IS OVERWEIGHT AND HAIRY AND I FUCKING LOVE IT.

Thankfully, diversity is an incredibly deep, and wide thing.  Having featured both "overweight" women, and hairy women, and very skinny women, and everything in between, I can honestly say that they all got comments.  Some good, some bad, some neutral, some confused.  I can understand feeling frustrated that there is an abundance of thin women present in most art forms.  It is frustrating.  But it doesn't mean that you should put them down just because they're not diverse in the way you specifically want them to be.  Rather than being rude and yelling at people, why not seek out, and encourage artists who are doing what you want to see?

Well, I WOULD do that, if it wasn't so impossible to find them in the first place!
Me being rude and yelling is probably just because I'm an angry asshole who's fed up with fat-shaming.

Go make some then! :)  And there are plenty of larger female models here on deviantart actually, I've featured several of them!  And while I can understand being upset, it's not helpful to anyone to put other people down just because they aren't what you want them to be.  It actually just makes things worse for everyone.

You're right, I'm sorry if I made you feel like I was attacking you. I'm a spiteful person who can't seem to stop getting into arguments. I don't have a healthy outlet in real life, so I come onto here picking fights, but I only make myself feel worse.

The people who are saying "This isn't art" or calling it "Porn" are ignorant. There's a difference between artistic nude and porn. Honestly, those people shouldn't be commenting if they're not mature enough to understand this kind of art and differentiate it from porn.

It is a beautiful piece showing the difference of each individual's body and appearance. The human body is a beautiful thing, and is worth appreciating. I like artistic nude ^^ As an amateur artist, it really helps me study on anatomy. And I just think the way the human body is made is amazing. I love it when that beauty is so simply conveyed in pictures like these~
Lovely job, and congrats on the DD~

How is calling people at a healthy weight "skinny" not body shaming? (NB: "healthy weight" is a range, don't be an idiot.)

There is nothing in this picture that is a critique on how people should look. Or even in the description. If you're adding your own meaning, YOU are responsible for it.

no, everyone in the comments is adding their own meaning.
"wOW LOOK AT HOW DIVERSE THEY ARE SO UNIQUE"

IT'S NOT BODY-SHAMING BECAUSE LITERALLY EVERYONE EVERYWHERE IN THE MEDIA WANTS YOU TO BE SKINNY AND IF YOU'RE NOT SKINNY THEN YOU'RE NOT A VALID MEMBER OF SOCIETY AND DESERVE TO BE MOCKED.

First of all, stop calling people who are at a healthy weight "skinny." It's fucking inconsiderate. Unless you don't actually care about supporting all types of women, just your type?

Second of all, if you read this much into a picture with no included commentary, that is simply an elegant pose with an interesting diversity (it's still a word it doesn't have to mean any PC bullshit), I shudder to think how you handle going outside. What about all those average-weighted bathroom signs?

lol because "skinny" is an insult nowadays and "fat" is totally a compliment.

Have you ever seen 'skinny' used as a compliment? The word is 'thin.' And, actually, the culture I come from uses 'fat' as a compliment. So maybe if you went outside more often you wouldn't be so narrow-minded.
